Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
Allentown Tanks ("Allentown Tanks," "we") runs allentowntanks.com. We are a referral service: we connect property owners with independent contractors. We do not perform tank work. All tank work is performed by independent local contractors, who are separate businesses responsible for their own work, licensing, permits and insurance.
Information we collect
- What you give us: name, phone, email, property address or town, details about the tank and project, and anything you type in the notes.
- Calls and texts: if you call or text, we may log the phone number, date, time and length. If we record calls, you'll be told at the start of the call. We do not currently record calls.
- Automatic data: like most websites, our host (Cloudflare) processes basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the referring site, to deliver and secure the site.
- Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build an advertising profile. It gives us aggregate counts such as page views and referrers. We don't use any advertising or remarketing tools. The quote form may use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which may process basic device and browser data.
How we use it
- To respond to your request and match you with one local contractor who serves your area
- To contact you about your request by phone, text or email
- To run, secure and improve the site
- To meet legal obligations
Sharing with your matched contractor
When you submit a request, we share your contact and project information only with the one local tank removal contractor we match you with, so they can contact you and quote the job. That contractor may pay us for the referral. The contractor has its own privacy practices.
We may also share information with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, call tracking, form and CRM tools), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
We never sell your information or add it to marketing or lead lists. We share your contact details with one local contractor only to fulfill your request. We don't sell your data otherwise.
Consent to calls and texts (TCPA)
If you check the consent box, you agree that Allentown Tanks and the one local tank removal contractor we match you with may call and text the number you gave us about your request. This may include autodialed calls and texts and prerecorded or artificial voice messages.
- Consent is not a condition of service.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Opt out at any time: reply STOP to any text, tell the caller, or email info@allentowntanks.com. Reply HELP for help.
- If you don't want to give consent, call us at (215) 434-1322 instead.
We keep records of consent (time, page and wording). We keep these records for 5 years.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts and calls as described above.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your information at info@allentowntanks.com. We can't delete a copy the matched contractor already received, but we'll tell you which contractor got your request.
Data retention and security
We keep lead information for up to 24 months and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We will post updates here with a new effective date.
